Designed and helped develop an expert system-based fault diagnosis and repair architecture for a new low-end fault-tolerant computer system, the CLX. Project involved capturing diagnostic data from the system, using it to make determinations about which component needed replacement, and then directing the repair procedure.

One of two key development personnel for an integrated PC database application using Pascal and 8088 Assembler. Responsibilities included design and development of the file processor and system-wide problem analysis/resolution.

Designed and implemented firmware for a 6803-based remote terminal to be placed in a truck cab, allowing the driver to communicate via radio with host computer. Project involved writing a debugger for the 6803, and bringing up the system on untested hardware with no development system.
